A lesson from Bear

It is amazing what God reveals to you throughout your life…if you pay attention.  While I was walking my dog Bear the other day (he is rescued Chow that just needed a good home to live out the rest of his life and this is another lesson for another time), he was constantly trying to stop and sniff things while I kept trying to get him to hurry up and get our walk over.  As I continued to pull on his leash as he meandered about, it hit me like a blinding flash of the obvious (BFOTO).  Bear had it all figured out!  He was not in any hurry to finish anything because he was more interested in the journey than in the inn.  In true (type A) form, my focus was on the “objective” of finishing the walk while Bear was much more concerned with enjoying each step.  Which one of us is smarter?  Are you more like me or like Bear?
