Clarity of purpose

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200 dollars.  Do not take one more steps unless you have clarity of purpose. I can honestly say that I feel better just thinking about having it.  It is most likely the one issue that sinks many an effort.  Conversely, being clear on why you are doing something can overcome a less than stellar operational effort because you will not simply stop if things don’t work out.

It is never too late to determine why you are taking action.  Take a few minutes and think it through.  Are you clear on why you are doing what you are doing?  Once you are, there is no feeling in the world like it.  Having that sense of commitment that comes from your purpose aligning with your actions.

For me, it’s Colossians 3:23-24…what is it for you?

One response to “Clarity of purpose

  1. Great post! Clarity of purpose is paramount to ebing truly successful in anything. If not clear about your purpose, it’ll be too easy to get distracted with the shiny pennies of life and spin your wheels. Clarity of purpose makes it easy to say no to what will distract you and focus on only those things that will get you to your goals. And immersing it in passion, will accelerate it to an even higher power.
